The founding partner has worked on behalf of a number of Local Authorities and Approved Inspectors throughout England.\u00a0 <\/span>Major duties involved legislation in reference to buildings; planning; environment; water and health with responsibility to ensure that all work inspected complied with building\u00a0 <\/span>legislation\u00a0 <\/span>and regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The founding partner worked with Housing Associations and within other departments of Birmingham City Council, tasked with ensuring that contractors complied with all relevant building legislation. For example: CDM, COSHH, Health\u00a0 <\/span>and Safety at Work Regulations including Management Regulations. <\/span><\/p>\n

Additional experiences were:<\/span><\/p>\n

Risk Assessment: identification and diagnosis of building defects for the preparation\u00a0 <\/span>of suitable improvement schemes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Preparation of detailed work schedules in accordance with the Employer\u2019s <\/span><\/p>\n

Schedule of Unit Rates and Specification of Quality of Work.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day-to-day contract control and monitoring of expenditure. <\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibility for ensuring that building regulations, building control, safety standards and relevant risk \u00a0 <\/span>assessments\u00a0 <\/span>were achieved and maintained. <\/span><\/p>\n

The founder partner has worked as a building consultant from 2005 to the present. This has led to development in other areas which include writing Survey Inspections; Reports and Scott Schedules for court; lecturing in Construction, Health and Safety and the Built Environment.
